ABOUT FGC

The original Farm and Garden Centre was established in 1988 in Saskatoon, Saskatchewan. It operated for 15 years before a new ownership group took over in 2003 and began to establish a new standard in customer service for the John Deere brand in North Central Saskatchewan.

FGC John Deere was formed to create long lasting partnerships with the customers we deal with. At FGC John Deere we strive to provide high quality solutions for our customers, not just products. Providing the machine is only one part of the equation; the sales consultation process, parts availability, service quality, and after sales support all make up a part of the solutions that Farm and Garden Centre provides for our customers.
When Farm and Garden Centre was purchased in 2003 by Cervus Equipment Corporation it consisted of two stores. One of these was located in Saskatoon and one in Rosthern. As part of an ambitious plan for growth in Central and Northern Saskatchewan the employees at the Saskatoon and Rosthern locations were excited to welcome the former Westby Tractor dealership, in Watrous Saskatchewan, to the FGC John Deere team in 2006. Two years later the expansion continued in Northern Saskatchewan bringing the capabilities and enthusiasm of the employees at the former Northeast Ag dealerships, in Melfort and Prince Albert, to the Farm and Garden Centre group, which now totals five dealerships.

Farm and Garden Centre currently employs approximately 135 people across five locations in Central and Northern Saskatchewan.
